Proper Ballet Studio Etiquette

  • Please arrive on time for class with your dancer ready to go. If your dancer is little, please make sure they use the bathroom before class.

The dancers will be able to excel and enjoy class if these things are accomplished!

  • Proper ballet attire and shoes are required (check out our Class Attire page for more info on this). Dancers with long hair must have their hair pulled back away from their face and into a bun.

This will help the dancers do their best in class!

  • During the winter please leave wet and muddy boots in the hallway!

This will keep our dancers shoes and toes warm and ready for class!

  • We ask that all our families respect the rules of the ballet studio and trust the teachers and their process. If you would like to discuss something regarding your dancer or class, please contact Hayley, the director of SVB.

Communication should happen through the studio phone or our email or in person and not to teachers personal cell phones, social media or emails. We thank you for helping to keep these guidelines in order.

  • Payment is due at the start of classes.

Please email if you would like to set up a payment plan.

  • We do not offer refunds unless in very specific circumstances. We will honor studio credit if you choose to dance with us at a later date.

If a dancer misses class, they are welcome to make- up up to two classes in another class, if there is space in a class that is age/skill appropriate.
